Bada-Bling: The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Debuts
Sure to shake-up the scene in Vegas with its high-flying restaurant portfolio and other amenities, The Cosmo opens its doors today.
The Cosmopolitan, the latest in Las Vegas luxury accommodations (and likely the last for a while) opens today. A slew of celebrity chefs are opening high-end restaurants in the hotel, including two establishments by Jose Andrés, a Vegas outpost of Scarpetta by Scott Contant and an incarnation of David Myers’ Comme Ça, to name a few. The hotel boasts some exceptional splashes, such as a hammam-style spa, three uniquely themed pool experiences, graffiti-mural adorned walls, LED art exhibitions, and a three-story chandelier nightclub called Marquee. The Cosmo will culminate its opening with a New Year’s Eve gala and a concert by Jay Z and Coldplay– a weekend that will likely embody the hotel’s “just the right amount of wrong” mantra.
