Out on the open road, bikers will wind through the southern and western Cape along Route 62, enjoying luxury accommodations and gourmet meals after glorious days exploring the incomparable landscapes around Cape Town. The trip starts in the bustling cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, then heads to the Karoo hinterland near Oudtshoorn, passing through the world-recognized port capital of South Africa–Calitzdorp.  The cycling odyssey continues onto Montagu, famous for its wine and hot springs, and through to the rich valleys of Franschhoek which are world renowned for their wines, and legendary for their concentration of fantastic restaurants. The final leg ends in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve on the south western tip of Africa.
