Cooking Classes with New York City's Finest
Aspiring chefs, adventurous foodies, and culinary étudiantes, The French Culinary Institute is calling and chefs like Jean George, Jacques Pepin, Morimoto and Dan Barber are on the line. On October 3rd and 4th, check out the second annual New York Culinary Experience for hands-on, intimate, and interactive cooking classes with a stellar group of kitchen wizards. Learn from Jonathon Benno from Per Se, April Bloomfield from The Spotted Pig, David Bouley of his eponymous restaurant, and Christopher Lee from Aureole to name a few. In addition to two-full days of fun in the kitchen and receptions at night, a silent auction will take place to raise money for a scholarship fund for future chefs.
$1,395 per person (receive $100 off each ticket if purchasing two or more). Price includes all classes, breakfasts, lunches and a closing reception each day. For tickets and information, contact 646-314-4413.
