Shawn Barker, resident mixologist for Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, has created a haute cuisine holiday “liquid dessert” called the Sobieski Red Velvet martini. Serve up this seasonal cocktail to friends and families this holiday as it’ll be sure to add a festive kick to any gathering. In his latest concoction, Barker suggests using Sobieski Vanilia with its brown sugar and hazelnut nose and sublime caramel finish. wandermelon loves this luscious little sipper.
Sobieski Red Velvet
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz Sobieski Vanilia Vodka
½ oz Blackberry puree
½ oz Dark Chocolate Liqueur
1 scoop vanilla bean ice cream
3 slices of muddled ginger
Crushed biscotti garnish
Directions: Muddle, mix, scoop, and then shake like you mean it…
In more detail: Muddle ginger then add it to a shaker with Vanilia Vodka, blackberry puree, and chocolate liqueur. Add a scoop of soft vanilla bean ice cream and shake vigorously. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with crushed biscotti. Enjoy!
