HOTEL BUZZ: Grand Hotel Villa Cora
The Grand Hotel Villa Cora, one of the most prestigious hotels in Florence, has reopened following a major redesign by Whythebest Group. The remodel maintained the villas exquisite original architectural heritage while adding sophisticated modern finishings. The Grand Hotel Villa Cora occupies a 19th-century villa, set amid the lush green gardens of Viale dei Colli near the city center.
This sophisticated city resort now boasts a pampering spa, gym, and a swimming pool overlooking the Boboli Gardens where guests can relax following a day visiting Florence’s grand masterpieces. The property also features two spectacular restaurants, one of which has been dedicated to Pasha Isma’il who stayed in the villa for numerous years. The second restaurant, set to open in May, is located in the luminous garden and will offer traditional Tuscan cuisine, as well as a health-conscious menu based on the programs at the wellness center. Comprised of three separate structures, the Main Villa contains 30 suites and rooms, each with its own unique style. The Villino Eugenia contains 14 rooms designed in the traditional Florentine style, while The La Follie features a small guesthouse that is ideal for guests seeking secluded privacy.
Now through April 30, 2011, guests can experience the Grand Hotel Villa Cora starting at 330USD (€250) per night in a Double Classic Room. The promotion includes a buffet breakfast, upgrade to next room category depending on availability, and a 15% discount on the A La Carte Menu at the Restaurant Pasha. Book here.
