MTN Bushfire Festival in Swaziland
For world travelers looking for a unique cultural and music festival, the upcoming Bushfire Festival raises awareness and generates funds to tackle the most pressing social needs in Swaziland.
MTN BUSHFIRE is Swaziland’s highly acclaimed international music and arts festival held each year at House on Fire in the heart of the Ezulwini valley. Each year a diverse audience of up to 20,000 people come together over three days to celebrate cultural meeting points, fuelling a feast of magical performances from Africa and beyond.
This year’s Pan-African event includes one-man band Jeremy Loops, the acclaimed Saul Williams Band, soul singer Ayo, as well as many other artists. The festival will be held at Swazi Land’s House on Fire and will draw crowds seeking spiritual and cultural exploration. Bushfire 2012 is in its 6th year and this year’s theme is The Art of Self Discovery. The festival will open its doors on May 25 at 5pm and will run until May 27. Get your tickets here.
