Set Sail Through The Panama Canal

The historic Panama Canal will undergo construction next year to expand the size of this engineering marvel that’s nearly a century old. Serving as a vital passageway between the Pacific and Atlantic, the canal with its complex lock system ushered its first ship through in 1914. Crystal Serenity will sail from Miami to Los Angeles on January 4, 2011, with calls in Grand Cayman, Cartagena, Huatulco, and Puerto Vallarta before docking in Los Angeles on January 17, 2011.  Crystal Symphony makes her first 2011 departure from Miami on February 23, 2011 with scheduled calls in Tortola, St. Barts, St. Martin, and Aruba before passing through the Panama Canal and disembarking passengers in Caldera, Costa Rica.
