Sugar High: Sweet Lady Jane Opens in Santa Monica

For the past twenty years, Sweet Lady Jane on Melrose has been Los Angeles’ premiere patisserie and custom cake bakery to the stars. The intimate West Hollywood baked goods boutique caters to Angelenos with a sweet tooth who line up to taste her delectable creations like red velvet cake, triple berry shortcake, key lime tarts, and tiramisu. Owner Jane Lockhart is famous for baking decadent custom-made creations for Hollywood stars like Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise and Jennifer Lopez.

With the grand opening of her Santa Monica store on November 18, Lockhart finally makes her indulgences available to Westsiders. The new space, located on Montana and 17th in Santa Monica, will offer her famous sweets, coffee and tea, along with a soup, sandwich, and salad lunch menu.  Patrons can watch the master cake decorator work behind a large window, and purchase gorgeous one-of-a-kind cakes that add panache to any celebration.
