See & Do
Sundance is located one hour south of Salt Lake City and its international airport. In addition to enjoying the resort, golfers should head to Heber Valley and play the Gold & Silver courses, part of the Wasatch Mountain State Parks. These resort-style courses are set next to the sites of the 2004 Olympic cross-country and bialthalon events. This affordable golf boast spectacular 360-degree views of the verdant valley and surrounding snow-capped mountains. The Provo river snakes through the area and hosts a bounty of brown trout, ideal for flyfishing or a scenic float trip. Forty-five minutes away, the playground of Park City awaits with three ski resorts (Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, and The Canyons), historic Main Street, the Olympic Park for adrenalin-fueled zipline or luge rides, and a plethora of fine eating establishments. More golf also awaits in Park City which has becomes something of a Mecca in last few years with second-home communities and courses designed by big guns like Nicklaus, Fazio and O’Meara popping up all over the outskirts of town.
