Yountville, Napa's Epicurean Star, Now Serving Seasonal Specials

Bistro Jeanty
One hardly needs an excuse to get away to Yountville, the culinary and viticulture center of California’s Napa Valley. But if you do, here’s a good one: incredible deals on hotels, food and wine in a town whose restaurants boast six Michelin stars. From Dec. 1 to February 28, chefs and hotels are teaming up for packages along with prix-fixe meals and discounts. Look for $1 oyster specials, 50-percent-off wine tastings and up to 25 percent off on hotel/dining packages.
For dining, both The Restaurant at Bardessono and Bottega are offering three-course lunches for $24.00 while Bistro Jeanty has a three-course dinner for $70 per couple. And at Hurley’s Restaurant, you can chow down on a three-course meal like crispy calamari salad, pan-seared scallops and dessert for $25.00 per person. Hotel/dining packages include one from Hotel Luca, set to open at the end of this month. The package includes a room, breakfast, a three-course Neapolitan-style lunch with wine at the hotel’s Cantinetta Piero restaurant, 2-for-1 bicycle rental, a 10 percent discount at Luca Spa and wine tastings at Ma(i)sonry, Girard Winery and Jessup Cellars, starting at $365.00. Thomas Keller devotees can get two nights at the Cottages of Napa Valley, a breakfast basket from Bouchon Bakery, a private winery tour and tasting plus dinner at Ad Hoc restaurant starting at $495.00. Villagio Inn & Spa is offering a room, champagne breakfast buffet, three-course lunch at Michael Chiarello’s Bottega Restaurant, VIP tasting at V Wine Cellar and a $50 shopping certificate at V Marketplace boutiques for $325.
